About Me
After more than 27 years in law enforcement, I retired with extensive experience in criminal investigations, crime scene processing, and evidence collection. During my career, I worked in specialized investigative units including Homicide, Robbery, Narcotics/Intelligence, and the Medical Examiner’s Office, where I developed practical expertise in complex criminal investigations and forensic procedures.
Throughout my career, I participated in investigations involving serious and high-profile crimes while working alongside local and federal agencies, including the FBI, DEA, and IRS. My experience in crime scene investigations required securing, documenting, collecting, analyzing, and presenting evidence accurately and professionally.
I created this site to share practical knowledge about crime scene investigation, forensic science, evidence handling, investigative techniques, and modern investigative technology. My goal is to help readers better understand the evolving methods used in criminal investigations today and the critical role evidence plays in solving cases and supporting successful prosecutions.
This site explores topics such as crime scene processing, forensic methods, criminal investigations, investigative technology, criminal behavior, and modern investigative strategies used by investigators and forensic professionals.
Whether you are interested in crime scene investigation as a career, forensic science, or modern investigative methods, I hope the information shared here provides useful insight into the realities of criminal investigations and evidence analysis.
